Our unique corporate experience set the foundation for a senior level career in Human Resources and Talent Management. The lessons learned at Disney, Manor Care and Choice Hotels laid the foundation to launch our consulting practice in 1997. While we have changed names a couple of times, however, these foundations have proved invaluable in serving over 100 clients in the past 20 years.

CONSULTING

Our clients have ranged from large well known New York Stock Exchange companies to mid-sized companies in healthcare, technologies, transportation, manufacturing, construction, oil and gas, insurance, utilities, communications, marketing, airlines, none profits and both local and national governmental agencies. We have provided consulting services bases on what we designed and learned during a 22-year career at Disney, such as customer (guest) service and employee orientation design.

We believe there is a place in every organization for a version of the Disney University which I managed for several years. Exceeding our client’s expectations is a goal we strive to achieve with each and every client. I am a published author of the “Disney Apprentice, Lessons Learned” available on Amazon and speak frequently on this subject.

HUMAN RESOURCES

My experience as a Sr. VP. Of Human Resources and Administration for a conglomerate that included Manor Care and Choice Hotels allowed me to work directly for the CEO and Chairman, as well as the Board of Directors. We successfully raised the talent bar and reduced turnover to levels never experienced in Long Term Care and Assisted Living. The CEO recruited me from Disney to create a great people company and we exceeded his expectations, while building a new associate and customer focused culture.

ASSESSMENTS

We did this with help from the Center for Creative Leadership, Talent Plus and Lominger (later acquired by KornFerry). We reorganized to push resources closer to the customer and focused on improving our selection of talent at all levels. Most importantly we created an annual Talent Review Process that incorporated Succession Planning. We were invited by the Lominger founders to join there independent consulting network in 1998. We help our clients improve their Talent by certifying them on the integrated tool set now offered by KornFerry. We apply their validated assessments along with those of Talent Plus to “raise the talent bar” and support the culture. We enjoy what we do!
